How to measure a garment. 

 

Tops:  

Pit to pit - a measurement taken across the chest on a flat laying garment. 

Collar to hem - a measurement from the back collar to the bottom of the back of the garment. 

Sleeve length -  to measure a sleeve you must account for the break at the shoulder - starting at the end of the sleeve to the centre of the collar.
