In some way, all of our lives are touched by the sacrifices made towards peace-keeping. The stories passed on to us by parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, are greater than all the medals and ceremonies. Tomorrow morning, coast to coast, we pause together to remember the individuals that gifted a process of freedom. It is something we live everyday.
Is this Menswear will be attending the 11:00am -12:00pm ceremony located at the Cenotaph on the BC Legislative Grounds' east lawn. We are also open for regular hours 11-7pm to continue to offer a community space that imprints the values we stand on guard to protect.
Special remembrance to:
CPL Mary E. Niles (WW2), Trooper Edward B. Niles (WW2), Private Austin B. Niles (WW1), Sergeant Gordon Russell (WW2), Lieutenant Commander Michael Connor (WW2), Commander Glynn Morrey-Jones (WW2)
